Cooking from the South,
served with care.
A shared love of home.
Mango Leaf was founded with a simple dream, to bring the authentic taste of South India to Calgary and create a place where people can enjoy traditional Indian food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Inspired by the recipes, flavors, and hospitality we grew up with, we wanted to share the rich culinary heritage of South India with our local community. Every recipe is crafted with carefully selected ingredients, fresh spices, and traditional cooking techniques to deliver the true taste of home while welcoming everyone to experience the diversity of South Indian cuisine.
Our purpose is more than serving great food. We aim to create memorable dining experiences where families and friends can gather, celebrate, and connect over delicious meals. We believe that every guest deserves exceptional service, authentic flavors, and a welcoming environment that makes them feel like part of the Mango Leaf family.
At Mango Leaf, we are proud to celebrate the culture, traditions, and hospitality of South India while introducing these vibrant flavors to people from all backgrounds. Whether you're enjoying your favorite comfort food or discovering South Indian cuisine for the first time, we look forward to making every visit a memorable one.
Ingredients
Whole spices, hand-ground daily. Cold-pressed coconut oil. Curry leaves from our own garden.
Craft
Dosa batters fermented for 18 hours. Masalas roasted by hand. Nothing arrives shortcut.
Hospitality
Quiet, generous, and attentive. A room that lets you stay as long as you like.

Where spice is
a discipline.
Our pantry holds more than forty whole spices, each toasted and ground for the dish it serves. We don't believe in shortcuts, and we don't believe in heat for heat's sake. South Indian cooking is measured, aromatic, alive. We try to honour that on every plate.
